How it works
Seminary Covenant Community, Inc. is a membership organization called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through independent member organizations and small group ministries. We make disciples, who make disciples—as Jesus taught.
Our members are people God has called to lead a non-profit organization—or develop one.
Membership
Tapestry Covenant Community Church is the founding church of Seminary Covenant Community. We’ve created Tapestry Home, a House Church movement, whose purpose is to grow Christ’s Kingdom through discipleship, training up of leaders, building biblical foundations, and creating sustainable ministries.
It may be recommended that individuals desiring to start an independent ministry begin with a House Church or small group under Tapestry Community to grow and guide you, in efforts to ensure your foundation is secure and biblical.
We offer these classifications of membership for organizations and individuals serving as leaders:

This is a non-profit organization examined and approved by Seminary Covenant Community and/or Tapestry Covenant Community. The leader of these organizations does not necessarily require an ordination, but requires the screening and agreement to use the brand and comply with IRS guidelines. This individual has applied to SCC for ordination, has qualified under our standards, been approved, agrees to follow moral and biblical accountability standards, completed the application process, and passed a background check.

They may at any time choose to open an organization or become an Organizational Member. We maintain their records as an ordained ministers; Note: we do not cover insurance or other benefits. nor is membership deemed employment.
As part of the ordination process, the candidate writes and submits a thesis which includes their beliefs, their calling, and their vision for ministry. SCC published this thesis.
